Join our Drama Youth Ensemble to hone your theatre craft and work towards producing a full production on our stage!
This class will teach teens and young adults how to become part of a professional theatre production. Participants are encouraged to take ownership of their learning by involving them in every aspect of creating a polished show. From script selection or writing to costume selection and marketing, students will gain invaluable insights into the detailed workings of a professional theatre.
During the course of the term participants will develop their skills in character development, stage-craft, collaboration and professionalism.
Drama Youth Ensemble is tailor-made for teens and young adults who have taken drama classes at the Playhouse before or are experienced performers, passionate about theatre, and are ready to take their skills to the next level. Entry to the class is by invitation & audition only.
